Cindy Susienka

Cindy Susienka is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Golden Living. She is responsible for the operational management of all of the Golden Living companies, including Golden LivingCenters, Aegis Therapies, AseraCare Hospice and Home Health, and 360 Healthcare Staffing. Previously, Ms. Susienka was President and CEO of Golden Innovations, Golden Living’s family of healthcare service businesses.

Prior to the formation of Golden Innovations following the March 2006 merger of Beverly Enterprises, Inc. with a subsidiary of Pearl Senior Care, LLC, Ms. Susienka served as Executive Vice President of Beverly Enterprises and Chief Operating Officer of Aegis Therapies and AseraCare Hospice and Home Health. She was the first female Executive Vice President of Beverly Enterprises in the history of the company. Ms. Susienka previously held the positions of Senior Vice President of Beverly Enterprises, President of Aegis Therapies and President of AseraCare Hospice and Home Health.

Ms. Susienka earned a Master of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree — both in communicative disorders — from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was awarded Marquette’s College of Health Sciences Distinguished Alumna in Speech Pathology and Audiology Award in 2002.

Ms. Susienka is Immediate Past President of the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL), following a two-year term as President. She serves as Vice Chair of the Hospice Action Network, part of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO).
