Angie Hollis-Sells


Angie Hollis-Sells is President of AseraCare with responsibility for leading the company’s 60 hospice agencies and six home health locations in 19 states. Previously, Ms. Hollis-Sells was Vice President of Clinical Operations for AseraCare. She joined AseraCare in 2004 as Transitional Clinical Operations Director when AseraCare acquired her former employer, Hospice USA, LLC. Ms. Hollis-Sells’ also has held other positions at AseraCare including serving as Interim Director of Operations, and National Director of Professional Services.

With more than 30-years of experience, Ms. Hollis-Sells is a passionate clinician who has cared for people in all stages of illness, including both pediatric and adult hospice patients. As a result of her work as a missionary nurse in Ghana, West Africa, she returned home to focus her nursing career on hospice services. Ms. Hollis-Sells’ position at Hospice USA, LLC included serving as Case Manager, Clinical Supervisor, Director of Staff Development, and Director of Clinical Operations.

Ms. Hollis-Sells also has held positions of increasing responsibility in neonatal intensive care nursing, staff development, administration, bereavement, and hospice care coordination in large hospital systems in Memphis, Tenn., and Mobile, Ala.

She is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse and serves on the Standards Committee for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Ms. Hollis-Sells earned a nursing diploma from the joint nursing program at the Memphis-based Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and the University of Memphis.
