Two Golden LivingCenter Donate $1,000 to Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department

Golden LivingCenter - Walnut Creek and Golden LivingCenter - Western Reserve donated one thousand dollars to the Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department during a check presentation on September 12th at the Fire Station. The Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department will use the donation to purchase Air Lift bags which utilize pneumatics to raise vehicles and equipment when people are trapped.

Golden LivingCenter - Walnut Creek and Golden LivingCenter - Western Reserve donated one thousand dollars to the Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department during a check presentation on September 12th at the Fire Station. “Golden Living is proud to present this grant the Kearsarge Volunteer Fire Department,” said Carolyn Snedeker, Executive Director at Golden LivingCenter – Walnut Creek. “We are pleased to be able to support worthwhile organizations like the Kearsarge Fire Department, which are pillars of the Erie community.”

The donation will be made as part of Golden Living’s Community Support Initiative grant program, which is funded through the Living Centers' parent company, Golden Living. The Community Support Initiative grants are charitable contributions given in support of worthy non-profit community or regional organizations. Since the programs inception in 2005, over 1,570 grants have been given out; contributing $1,498,000 into local communities the company serves.
